Commentary for August 4, 2020:

Like I said, Cookirini’s story is not over yet, and we will be revisiting the fallout of this chapter eventually. Probably in season 3 of Vol. 2, and I’m not sure when that will be, honestly. It takes a long time to get work on this series done and, let’s be real, working on Vol. 1 so much sure doesn’t speed things up at all.

Anyway, I talked about Serena’s new outfit in the previous commentary. Now here we have new outfits for Eon, Cookirini, and Delta. The outfits they had been wearing up until this point were an idea I came up with late in Eon’s Comic and carried over from that. They were supposed to be a fairly utilitarian design, but I’d become thoroughly sick of them by this chapter and couldn’t wait to put these characters in new outfits, which this last scene with them gave me a chance to do. Cookirini’s outfit is actually based on old sprites of her that I originally used in Eon’s Comic and then took up again to use in Eon’s World Vol. 1 last year. Eon’s outfit is loosely based on the one Luke Skywalker wears to Endor and the Death Star in Return of the Jedi with a more traditional Jedi robe thrown on top of it. And Delta’s is based on a combination of outfits worn by Aeryn Sun in Farscape and Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, again with a traditional looking Jedi robe on top.

I like these outfits much better and I fully expect that Eon at least will stick with his new one for a while. But I have some alternate outfits in mind for Delta at least that may feature in upcoming chapters (none that are currently online, mind you... well, unless you count Vol. 1, Chapter 26, that is).
