Commentary for July 2, 2019: The sad part is that Sora-Ya wasn’t actually trying to trick Knuckles. Not really. She genuinely wanted him on board and believed she could persuade him to join her. But she lost him the moment she started talking about taking over the world. The minute she said that, Knuckles clocked her as another Doctor Eggman and responded accordingly. But everything she said was basically true, and I guess that’s the tragedy of Sora-Ya. She wants to her people, which is fair, given their history. But she has a very warped idea of what helping them means and it really doesn’t help that she thinks her people are necessarily superior to all others. |
