Commentary for April 18, 2022: And here’s the promised interior shot of the bridge! Maybe it’s something that needs a little refinement yet, but I think it looks okay. In any case, setting that up was quicker and easier than getting it to look fairly clear what was going on in panels 4 and 5. Hopefully it needs no explanation, but the idea was that the Imperials were trying to burn the Freedom Fighters to death with the drive plume from the ship’s engines, although they didn’t reckon on CJ using a barrier spell to protect them. If you’ve read Vol. 2, you’ll have seen CJ use this spell before... nine years in the future. |
