Commentary for December 23, 2019: As I recall, I spent quite a while making the engine room aboard Kochanski’s ship for this page and was disappointed that we only really get a rather narrow glimpse of it. But then, I was conscious of just how long it would take to draw a wider shot of it, so that probably influenced how I framed each panel. I do wish I’d made the warp ring attached to the portal generator a bit more obvious, though. As with the previous chapters, I have now made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text, to make it consistent with Chapter 7 onwards. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
