Commentary for July 6, 2013: Well, really, who else was the new Chairman going to be? I mean, of all the high ranking Jovian officials we know, there was only really him or Elizabeth Wildman, who you saw at the convention on pages 2.07, 2.08, and 2.09, and Caradoc is the only one of the two to have had a major role in Jovian internal matters in Eon's Comic, at least from a story perspective. He was, basically, Merlin's right-hand man and somewhat more aggressive towards Earth than his more diplomatic predecessor. I feel like Iopolis doesn't look busy enough. Maybe I should've drawn in some people walking around Jupiter Square. Oh well. Maybe if I do a special edition in twenty years, I'll add lots of gratuitously CGI-ed-in stuff to the picture. Addendum for October 3, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
