Commentary for January 1, 2020: Happy New Year, dear readers! I have to admit, this is the page of this chapter I was most excited to do. I’m not much of a comedian -- usually, I’m only ever funny unintentionally -- which is why I quickly abandoned any attempt to deliberately write a joke comic long ago. But that doesn’t mean I can’t do a little comic relief now and then, which is what this is meant to be. I’d like to try and get a bit more comic relief into Eon’s World, because I feel as if it can be overly serious at times. Anyway, I’m quite pleased with how this and the previous page have turned out. I’m always a little daunted by drawing scenery, but I think I may be better at it than I realised. |
