Commentary for December 25, 2019: Merry Christmas, dear readers! I managed to get this page done at a much better clip than the last two, so I think I’ve got my groove back a wee bit. Hopefully that momentum can carry me through to the end of this chapter. I am excited to get through it and continue work on Eon's World Vol. 1 ahead of beginning Chapter 11, after all. Anyway, fun fact. I created Lieutenant Nevius, the Invincible’s helmsman ten years ago now, originally for Eon’s Comic, but it only occurred to me while doing this page what species she is. I knew she was some kind of canid, but not a fox or a wolf. While working on panel 2, it struck me. She’s a dingo. And talking of Invincible’s bridge crew, I was pleased to get to showcase some of the officers who haven’t had much screen time up until now. Ensign Galdez is the science officer and Lieutenant Olga is the chief of operations. The only guy who hasn’t had anything to say so far is the security chief (who you may have seen in the background of panel 4 on the previous page), but maybe you’ll hear from him in the next couple pages.
