Commentary for August 25, 2022:

Strange crystalline growths, a mysterious portal, and creepy laughter coming out of it? What could this all mean? Well, some of you might be able to make a guess from context clues, depending on how familiar you are with Sonic fiction. But that is all I will say here about it. You’ll find out what’s going on in a few chapters.

However, that being said, this is where I am going to have to take a break from creating Eon’s World for what I hope will only be a short time, but things are going on in my life right now that make finding time to do this comic difficult. It’s been all I can do to stay ahead of schedule these last few months. I take no pleasure in having to take a break less than halfway through this season (eight out of twenty-two chapters); it had always been my plan to bring you each season of Vol. 1 uninterrupted from start to finish and only take breaks between seasons, never in the middle, but life has no respect for me or my plans.

So, when will Chapter 43 be coming? Honestly, I don’t know. Hopefully before the end of the year, but I know better than to make any promises. In the words of the great G’Kar, expect me when you see me.
