Commentary for January 24, 2020: I am really quite proud of the character arc I’ve written for Blaze here. I’m not, of course, claiming it was my idea, like Windows 7 or something; obviously, Blaze went through a similar character arc in Sonic Rush, where she first appeared, and that’s what I’m basing her character development here on. This is just my own spin on that idea and that’s what I’m pleased with. Of course, in Sonic Rush, it was Cream’s friendship with Blaze, undaunted by her initial coldness, that was crucial to how she had changed and grown by the end of the game, and I very much wanted to pay homage to that here. I’ll talk more about that later, though. With this page, I’ll just finish up by saying how pleased I am at how intense I managed to make Blaze’s fight through Eggman’s Badniks look.
