Commentary for March 27, 2019:
Folks who read Eon’s Comic back in the day may recall a handful of occasions where CJ cast this
spell, and anyone familiar with
Slayers will recognise it as
Lina Inverse’s signature spell. Spells in Eon’s Comic were always loosely based on spells from
Slayers, with a bit of The Elder
Scrolls thrown in later, but one or two spells like this one are
basically taken from the anime verbatim. Hey, Eon’s World is already
a melting pot of Sonic, Star Wars, and Star Fox, so what’s one more franchise to If you’re familiar with the spell CJ’s about to cast, you’ll know what to expect on the next page. |
