Commentary December 23, 2019: Eon has had enough experience dealing with self-important military types who want to philosophise at him that he has little patience for it anymore, especially right now, when every second counts. That’s why, despite Kochanski’s attempts to bait him (with practically everything he says to him), he’s not rising to it. A younger Eon could have easily distracted taking some of that bait, but not this Eon and not today. As with the previous chapters, I have now made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text, to make it consistent with Chapter 7 onwards. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
