Commentary for December 23, 2019: You may remember Admiral Dennet having been mentioned in Chapter 4. Now you finally get to meet him. He doesn’t have a huge role in Eon’s World Vol. 2 (at least, not so far), but he’ll be reprising the big role he had in Eon’s Comic when Vol. 1 catches up to that point in the story. Heck, he may even be featured prominently earlier than that, because I have the benefit of foresight writing Vol. 1 and can bring in characters who originally didn’t appear until later much earlier, if I choose. Anyway, I remember being deeply satisfied with this page when I originally completed it, particularly in the way the volley of torpedoes being fired at Angel Island looks. I think it still holds up, too. As with the previous chapters, I have now made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text, to make it consistent with Chapter 7 onwards. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
