Commentary for November 5, 2014: I never quite understood why the Jedi never seem to wear armour... well, outside of the Clone Wars cartoon series, but even then, they don't seem to wear a lot of armour. I figured, if Terran Jedi know they're going into battle, then like any soldier, they'd be outfitted with a suit of armour. And, naturally, that armour needs to look cool, hence the coat. Because why not? About the armour. It's basically an EVA suit with detachable armour pieces worn on top of it, with a sleeveless duster coat worn on top of that. I already had a hallway I could've used for this page, but I felt it was kind of lacklustre, I felt, so I made an improved, more detailed version, which I will admit was fairly inspired by corridors shown aboard the Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation, albeit wider and much, much darker. Specifically, it's the panels on the walls that I liked. Addendum for December 12, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
