Commentary for July 12, 2014: So I found a new, faster way to do scenes involving spacecraft, which I used first on this page. Any way I can get work on this comic done faster, without loss of quality, is a welcome discovery! I'm really pleased with this page in general too, especially my work on Kari-Ya. Having recently watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, I've come to really appreciate fine detail on mechanical limbs, and I've really tried to embrace that in drawing Kari-Ya's. Addendum for November 11, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
