Commentary for March 22, 2014: This page has made me reconsider having too much detail on my spacecraft, because panel 1 took a heck of a long time! Aside from that, I really don't have a great deal to say about this page. I will say that I am trying to go for a less "realistic" and more cartoony portrayal of characters (without getting silly) on this page, because I think it'll look better that way. Also because I don't want the really jarring juxtaposition of more realistic looking characters alongside more cartoony characters like Sonic the Hedgehog when they inevitably show up in Eon's World. Think how Sonic Unleashed adopted more exaggerated and cartoonish looking human characters in contrast to earlier super-realistic ones in Sonic Adventure through to Sonic 06. Addendum for November 11, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
