Commentary for March 15, 2014: Hey, look! I'm on time! I had a great time on this page. I've always found echidnas kind of challenging to draw, but I'm really pleased with how Kari-Ya turned out. I'm also pleased with my different approach to Force lightning on this page, which I think looks a lot better than in Chapter 3. Also, believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever drawn Professor Horatio. He was an important recurring character in Eon's Comic from very close to the beginning; but unlike most of my major characters, I never got round to actually drawing him until now. For inspiration, I drew upon Doctor Zachary from Sonic the Comic and Nate Morgan from Sonic the Hedgehog, with a bit of an Enclave officer uniform from the Fallout series thrown in for his outfit. Oh yes. Big reveal too. Hands up who saw it coming? Addendum for November 11, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. |
