Commentary for August 7, 2013: It's hiatus time again! Only this time, Eon's World won't be gone so long that you'll start to wonder if it's ever coming back. No, it will return on September 14. I don't really have much to say about this page. But, in case you're wondering, Eon and Serena are on a balcony overlooking the internal courtyard at the centre of the Jedi Academy's main building. Addendum for October 3, 2019: In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read. Again, I changed the dialogue quite a bit on this page, too. At least for the first two panels. The essence of the original conversation is there, but I added one important point that was not included in the original version, which is Eon pointing out that, all too often, the victims of bigotry are expected to set an example by turning the other cheek, while the bigots themselves are not similarly expected to just stop being cruel to people. The pressure is all very one-sided and, like so much in politics, favours the status quo. |
