Commentary for September 14, 2018:

And that's another major story arc wrapped up with the downfall of General Davis. Not a lot about the story itself has changed between this and the original, but I did condense Davis's actual arrest in order to fit in the first two scenes, with Samanfur addressing the Senate and Davis speaking to a mysterious "Warlord". (Where might we have heard that before?) In the original version, Cookirini came to arrest Davis with Lianne-Ka and Samanfur was only mentioned; she did not actually appear. It made no sense for a local cop from Station Square to do the arrest, so I had the Chancellor, Samanfur come with the Senate Guard to do it instead.

This page marks the final appearance in Eon's World of Harry Eastwood. Like with Lothar Hex, Eastwood's creator, Stuart Edney asked me to discontinue use of the character in Eon's World around this time. Fortunately, given Lothar's departure, I had anticipated this already and made a plan to write him out if asked, which was this. With GUN under the command of someone who can be trusted, he resigns, feeling his work is done.
