Commentary for August 04, 2018:

I'm not sure why I decided to have Bass run for President. I guess sixteen-year-old me thought it was funny. At the time of writing, I was running with the mentality of "I have these cool sprites; let's find a use for them". I knew next to nothing about Mega Man at this time, though. I still haven't really played the games, but I've done a lot of research into the series and I have read the entire 55 issue run of the Mega Man comic by Archie. So, armed with the knowledge I do have, I decided to try and write the Mega Man characters better.

This page marks the first appearance in Eon's World of Harry Eastwood, another who'd go on to be a main character in the webcomic, Exterminatus Now and one of a number of OC's I was given permission to include in Eon's World at this time. It's also the first appearance of Cookirini, another OC I was kindly allowed to include, who would continue to feature in Eon's World right up to the present day.

I changed the dialogue a lot from the original version to reflect Eastwood'd general lack of interest in the issues the voters care about in order to focus more strongly in his concerns about GUN. Eastwood would go on to have a contentious relationship with GUN later on, and I thought it would be good to lay the foundations for that immediately.
