Commentary

My first comic in the series... Unscripted, poorly laid out, and a mediocre-to-ugly mix of unedited JPEG and PNG backgrounds.

Looking back, I would not have done it this way if I could do it again. While it might have been mildly entertaining to my sixteen-year-old mind at the time, I don't think there was ever any need to break the fourth wall like this, certainly not in a comic that would go on to become a lot more serious and would never directly address the reader like this again. As such, this issue should not be considered part of the larger canon.

Still, everyone starts somewhere. This could have been a lot worse.
